My homelab is built around [hardware](#hardware) and [software](#software) components that support a variety of use cases, including:

- Virtualisation: Utilising Proxmox as my hypervisor, I'm running multiple VM's for various applications and services. - Networking: Currently a basic single VLAN setup - Automation: Home Assistant running on a Raspberry Pi 5, Zigbee network for the majority of smart devices. - Storage: TrueNAS VM NAS server for file management and media hosting.

Some exciting plans for future upgrades and expansions:

- Upgrading storage with more drives and improved redundancy.

- Implementing advanced monitoring of network devices and VMs.

- Hardware upgrades add more ram to the main Dell R730 host to allow more VMs, introduce a second host to run as a backup server.
