This wiki serves as the central hub for documenting the setup, configuration, and ongoing projects in my homelab.

The goal of this space is to keep track of hardware configurations, software deployments, network setups, and other related topics.

My homelab is built around [hardware](#hardware) and [software](#software) components that support a variety of use cases, including:

- Virtualisation: Utilising Proxmox as my hypervisor, I'm running multiple VM's for various applications and services.

- Networking: Currently a basic single VLAN setup

- Automation: Home Assistant running on a Raspberry Pi 5, Zigbee network for the majority of smart devices.

- Storage: TrueNAS VM NAS server for file management and media hosting.

Some exciting plans for future upgrades and expansions:

- Upgrading storage with more drives and improved redundancy.

- Implementing advanced monitoring of network devices and VMs.

- Hardware upgrades add more ram to the main Dell R730 host to allow more VMs, introduce a second host to run as a backup server.
